![]() The African Petroleum institute (AFPI) was created in March, 2012. The objectives and responsibilities of AFPI are as follows: (i) To train high level human resources in the oil and gas sector on behalf of the APPA Member Countries by having recourse to the most advanced training methods; (ii) To contribute to the cooperation among training institutions of APPA Member Countries, facilitate exchange of experience, trainers and joint utilization of infrastructures: (iii) To establish and maintain close working relationships with the Pan- African University on Water Science, Energy and Climate Changes; (iv) To carry out study and project entrusted to it by the Statutory Organs of APPA.
