Etisalat Nigeria is recruiting in Lagos for the position of a Specialist-Capacity Management who will Reports To: Head-IT Strategy & Architecture Job Summary: Conduct end-to-end multi-tier planning, analysis and monitoring of multiple enterprise IT and telco centric systems resources to ensure availability of adequate capacity to meet business requirements in a sustainable and optimized manner Principal Functions: Develop and manage framework for continuous capacity planning and monitoring with a view to proactively meeting and anticipating business demands across all IT systems Conduct capacity planning and manage business/ technology demands across critical IT systems and BSS/ OSS platforms to ensure that the business is adequately positioned to meet/ lead commercial and enterprise demands efficiently and effectively Ensure alignment of capacity management activities across all technology functions within the organization Interface with other teams within and outside IT in the process of delivering business capabilities Interface with vendors, suppliers and partners to ensure effectively optimized adoption of solutions Track and evaluate usage statistics of deployed systems and advise on required capacity provisioning actions Work with operational personnel to determine optimum configuration Educational Requirements: First degree or equivalent in Computer Science/ Engineering, Electrical/ Electronic Engineering or other numerate science. Relevant IT and telecommunications certifications desirable Experience & Skills: - Between two (2) and five (5) years relevant post-NYSC work experience in an IT capacity management or related role, including experience in at least two (2) IT disciplines, e.g technical infrastructure, application development, middleware, database management and operations - Good understanding of telecommunications business and technology model - Practical working knowledge with hands-on exposure to key mobile CSP network elements - Demonstrable experience in planning, building and running telecom BSS/OSS and related platforms will be an advantage - Very good understanding of business analysis and project management methods - Very good conceptual and analytical thinking - Good interpersonal and communication skills Click Here to apply on or before 12th April 2012 SEARCH FOR HIGH PAID JOBS HERE
